while playing at the training hill i see/hear willy, little j, and bob a. hot air riding up to 4700 in the hills. jeeezus hot dam!! somehow at 2:30, michele, tony and I left the training hill and headed to parma where we picked up hawaii eric, bob a, oregon lisa and little j up with the eagle van. i got off launch about 3:30 and soon found myself below the antenna farm(oops). scratched up and saw michele marking the air very nicely(damn she's good) as she climbed all over the place. dove back to the powerlines and just kept letting the west wind drift me up hill in the bowls. touched 3700 a few times and everyone else was over 3 out at the antennas. all 6 pilots soared well after 4pm and lisa and bob went beachbound at 5pm. i joined bob a at launch and it was wilcox sweet as we made pass after pass together in the soarable sw wind. we had no driver and after making a handful of passes on the hg launch and feeling it out, i toplanded there softly at 4:40. super stoked to not have to drive back up. fun afternoon!
