Inviting pilots to fly with me at Oat in Fillmore. Pilots new to the site must have a mentor to give site intro and use Grand Avenue Sespe LZ. Car pool and launch time are up to you. I will be a clearing launch and LZ on the property. I will change entry code at gate to SCPA if any interest. Call 208-1345

Mark is such a great host for this insanely lovely site

He had just outlined a potential flight plan from launch to Frasier when out of the blue a condor showed up and seemed to do exactly that!

A big thanks (again!) to Dr. Pratt for the invitation to come play, and for having such a nicely groomed place to do so! Andy is right when he says "Great Host" and I couldn't agree more.

The pictures are great and I really enjoyed flying there, as always, but this time I was able to push farther out front and it was really a treat to make it to the Von's LZ. Friendly locals greeted us, as well as Fillmore's finest were in attendance.

The condor that soared up in front of us was just amazing, It is really hard to grasp the scale of how big they are as they don't always get close like this one. Very nice show that day!

Rumor has it that Chris and crew had as good or better conditions until late the same day. Nice!

After an excellent morning flight at Alternator, Chris G, Dave B, and I headed east to Oat Mountain, on the edge of Fillmore. As all have reported, Mark P is an excellent host, and gave us a very thorough directions to the LZ, ride up to launch, site introduction, and was able to fly with us as well. Launching about 4:00, we had a great time flying in fun and at times a little bit athletic air. We all top landed after a while, hung out and enjoyed the spectacular view, and then flew again about 6:00p for a really pleasant, smooth glass-off down to wonderful-smelling orange groves. Highly recommended!
