Youse guys ever consider flying Oat Mountain on these conditions? Sounds like you might be able to make to The Santa Suzannes' and on to the San Gabriels.

Could be good but it's a longer drive and if it's good enough to make the San Gabriels it should be good enough to make it from Ojai.

10-4! Something I didn't think of would be the road to takeoff at Oat. I think Ronnie and Mark like to see it dry up for a few days prior to anyone using the road. Have fun!

Nuthouse is looking good. Cloudbase is rising and B/S ratio looks decent. ToL should be around 6500 if cloudbase rises a little. It's currently at 5500. Marty and I are hitting the HS at 10:30.

Aaaaaand it was good, but not as good as we'd hoped. Marty and I wasted too much time scenery-gazing and lost our best window. When we arrived there was sun-o-plenty and birds going from canyon to cloudbase in short order. By noon we'd lost our sun and by 1 we were gasping for cycles. I decided it wasn't going to get any better and went anyway and after a short episode below launch found nice cycles to 200 over launch. I was able to hold on for 30ish minutes before getting dirted in a down cycle. Remarkably good considering the heavy dark cloud cover. Probably going again tomorrow. Should be considerably better than today and I'll probably roll 30 minutes earlier.
