Monday 11/22, Bates at 11

Started out the door for a 10:15 meet at Parma, but it was looking blustery on the drive to Summerland, so I turned around to take a look at Bates. Seems like a lot of thermal bluster, and some wind up above. Variable caps on the water near Summerland, and building wind in Carp

9:30 / Going up to take a look at the Skyport. Estimating Parma about 10:15 (Aborted)

Launched 2nd in an initial pack of 4 gliders. Worked ok. Did several laps to Viola Fields and tested for max altitude a few times. 320 over the beach on the first test after launch a little before noon. 400 on the next try, and 500 on the third attempt about 12:30 ish. Further max altitude checks were lower. Finally flushed to the beach in a lull.
