Sorry we missed it, as we went to SB today instead. Carmen and I (as well as many others, I am sure) really do appreciate your generosity. We hope to share the air next time if possible!

You did not mis much.
Only a slight onshore wind in the morning. At noon set up a 1:30 LZ meet time with Allen King and Mark Miyahara. 1:45 at Launch winds were 15 to 18 and peak gust to 21. decided to wait and Allen wanted to check out a underground fire vent behind Oat. It was the first time I have got to see the vent. Very interesting. On the way back Allen found a shark tooth in a rock. Mark and I got a lesson in geology on the way back to launch, where it was now gusting to 26. Mark checked Wiley Ridge wind reading that showed 45mph. Some days you just have to drive down, I just wish I was better at predicting days like this one.
