10 AM meet at Parma. Call if you want to leave a car in Carpinteria. Weaker lapse rate than Thursday and Friday. Still a little wind up higher, but less than Friday, clocking more from the west compared to yesterday's north. There is some light catabatic flow out the Santa Clara River this morning, but it should draw on-shore early so I don't think we will have that pesky lower level east en-route to Casitas Pass after noonish. A bit of a marine inversion should break as the day heats also. The barometer is down a little from yesterday. If we don't get yesterday's high cloud cover, we might do ok. Can Hammer and Zippy do a 3 peat? SD

Fun day with a big turnout. Super good weather for the beginners; smooth, weak and buoyant until mid-afternoon. 4 flights, 3 from the Skyport and one from Bates to La Conchita. SD
