Looking like a possibilty for tomorrow. What's everyone thinking? I'm thinking strong, maybe rowdy, could be really good. Checking it in the a:m.

Weak day. Art drove Marty, Bob H., Andy and I up to launch. Scuds may have been the determining factor as no one could get much above 2,800 - 3,000 feet. We all made East Beach and Andy graciously drove back up to Skyport to retrieve Art's vehicle.

Tony, where were you? I called Skippy's cell- I need yours.

I was a little late (the Banana Pancakes were excellent), I was the last HG to launch (Court was the only one after me). It was still soarable (I recently learned that soarable, flyable, launchable, etc. aren't actually words- can you believe it?) as I climbed just a bit over launch. I topped out at 3400 at R&R, before sinking down to the tit where I maintained for 20 min, and then bailed for the beach for a 47min flight.

Figured out that I need a major angle change to my wingtip camera mount to get the horizon level. So I accomplished something today.

One year ago today, Erin came out for her Birthday tandem which changed both our lives (mine for the better ;) Now she has to endure HG gliding 24/7, and I love her for it!

Heading out the James Joyce for some Karaoke if anyone's down...

Yeah Zippy I kinda bailed in the end. I was hoping for a good xc day but could tell in the morning it wasn't going to happen. We did see you flying out to the beach as Anne-Odile, Kirra and myself left from the morning at the zoo. I had pneumonia several weeks ago and I was getting better so I went surfing a couple times in a row and now I feel that dreaded cold making a come back. I got a scolding for Anne-Odile for surfing in the rain. Yeah, it was dumb (surf was good though). So, I'm trying to lay low and keep my energy up and get over this thing. The surf was pumping today and I missed that too. Anne-Odile and I used to be out there flying every weekend but that's obviously changed. If it had been a special flying day I would have come out. My home number is 683-0810 and my cell phone is 708-0787. Call me anytime. Hoping for better flying days soon.

a pic I took on Sunday. I forgot my nose boom, so I grabbed a wing tip mount I'm working in on. The angle was off a bit, I'll keep tweeking it. Actually, because the file size limit is 1MB it won't let me upload the full frame pictures, but here's a rotated and cropped one.

The big day is coming... I'll be ready. Will you?
