mountains yesterday ???

Did the mountains get flown Sat. ???? If so , how was it ?

I flew the mtns yesterday on a PG. It was very soarable, a little choppy. I got to the clouds over the front of the Holy Hills, 3930', then flew half way to the beach and turned back downwind to Parma. 30 minutes, 923 ft/min max up lift, 1100 max down. I heard someone else flew VOR to the Tee...

I flew the mtns today on HG from Eliminator with Hammer we went to Painted Cave then the training hill. One hour and forty minutes, 4274' max altitude...the conditions seemed more rowdy in the burn areas, but abundant lift everywhere, like Marshal. The unburned areas were smoother, best climbs were from Noname peak. 994 ft/min. max up lift...1563 ft/min max down...some NW aloft 10-13 mph later above 3 grand...made for an easy glide out...
