Hey Bob the antenna farm looks a little funny, and what's that lake back there?

Cooooll!
Hangliding is not the best.
Paragliding is not the best.
Thermal flying IS the best!

Kabir, I was trying to be photogentic. Did you get any shots of us in the clouds over Thermal Factory?
Some great flying yesterday. I was Ben's wingman but pulled the plug at Montecito peak when I didn't see anyone getting high further east and no clouds forming and with the wind came back and flew in the clouds over Thermal Factory and cruised out to join everyone at the beach. Congrats to Bob Anderson for his crazy low flight and his out and return to Santa Ynez peak. At the same time Jeff Ross flew to White Ledge and back. Nice flying.

skyport at 9:30 was looking perfect. a little tough getting over launch. over to rr and up to 46 went to thermfact where the lift ended on the east side in the headwind. so we went west. i connected low at la cumbre peak but finally back up to 46. out to cathedral where the lift was booming up to 5k. scenic thermals with cloud topped and edged clear domes. landed at the training hill.
