Hike-Port anyone? sun, 19th

Postby andy dainsberg » Sat Oct 18, 2008 11:48 am

4 fun i'm planning on hiking rattlesnake up to skyport sun am. i will prob hike my lightest glider and gear and just plan a sled flight into parma. its maybe a 2.5 hour ~ 6mile hike or so up to lauch, taking it easy; sniffing flowers or whatnot. perhaps some pretty steep sections toward the end near where we intersect w/ gibralter. then we continue up on the rd. so... if u wanna come w/me ~ (don't all jump forward at once!!) meet at parma parking @7am. we can leave a car there and truck over to the trailhead. my info's on the member page.

jefficito ~ next time... well what a beautiful, cool, solitary, shaded, easy climb to skyport.. only took about an hour 20 from the trailhead. i waited about an hour for a minor up cycle and was off, silent, on glide to parma...
