We met at Parma where Chip had a new driver, TC, to bring the truck back down. Since she had never been there before, we had TC drive up and Andy, Art, Bob, Chip, Magic, Ron, and I piled out. Cycles were few and far between when we arrived, and the inversion was clear, and clearly we were going to be affected by it. Finally Ron launched and got up and went for the R+R. DD, Cormac, and Lee arrived in time to see Ron well above the R+R. The rest of the gang launched and soon reports were comming in from downrange.
TC got the truck back to Parma with no problems, Ron, Art, and Andy made the best of the conditions and landed somewhere downrange, and the rest of us landed at parma. Parma was pumping today, landing was quite a challange as every time I got 40 feet above, the vario would start singing, and I had to abort and make another pass. I was resolved to hold ears all the way to the dirt when I finally got a break and after almost 20 minutes landed safely.
A much better way to spend a Friday than sitting at a desk!
