Dean, this is an excellent venue for new, returning, or experts to brush up on our tasks and gear without spending a ton of money. Having it in our backyards is great. There were many people in the contest and in the LZ to commemerate Rob Kells. There were aerobatics with smoke and many people who made the trek there to pay there respects to Rob. There were some people who came because they were held captive in a chase car.

Oh, and my results, 3 hours and four minutes of flying and I don't think I scored a single point. That's one way not to land early but I guess you don't get points if you sit on the flag pole. Guy and myself did have a lot of fun flying our Falcons and looking down from above on the Atos's and gaggles though. And the beer in the LZ still tasted mighty fine after a hot day of flying.
