Howbowcha too sick ta work flyers?? There must have been at least twenty pilots in the air today. It was good at launch, and good all the way down to Parma. I swear I could'a benched back from 500' above Parma. Heard that Terydactyl went to Ojai and many people went to the beach. I went back to work.

got to 4.2k and had a beautiful view of the snow covered back country

Yes, very nice indeed
Lee's truck is magic, it held enough people to fill out the eagle van!

It was fun to fly with all the crew again!
Cought a ice thermal from launch to 4500
Sper sweet!

Then to the RR where I got thrown around a bit
The to the T factory where it started nice and turned a bit edgy.

Had the bech amde but not enough time
(it is a tuesday afteralljavascript:emoticon(''))

The air was fun mostly w/ a couple of strong edges from time to time.

it was nice to FLY!

Thanks everyone!

Yes, it was good. On the drive up a Bobcat ran in front of us and into the bushes and we new it was going to be a magic day. Launched early and turned left and went down range almost to the wires. No one was around though and it was a bit edgy and swirly so I boated back and forth and then started back. Joined up with Terry and watched him go to the wires but felt like it was more work than fun so kept going back where Bob Anderson joined me for the return across the canyon to Romero and Montecito peak where we hooked up with Lee. Later as I was heading to Parma caught a great thermal in front of the round house that kept my vario singing and then joined some friends of Yves Bajulez from Switzerland at the Thermal Factory. Got to 4700 ft several times in twisty high pressured thermals. Flew for three hours. The back country was beautiful with all the snow covered peaks.

Hangliding is not the best.
Paragliding is not the best.
Thermal flying IS the best!
