Hang Gliders at Woodrat

Here's some crazy stuff I witnessed this year (oops, last year) at Woodrat. After landing at the winery in high winds we watched a couple of HGs making for the same LZ. Figured they had it. No problem. Boy were we surprised.

Geez, that's pretty hairy. Looks like the first pilot pulled off a non-injury landing at the last second. Did you ever hear what happend with the second pilot that bounced off the power lines? It looked really bad before the pilot went out of camera view. Did the he/she pull off a last-second save as well?

The second pilot escaped injury,amazingly, but the glider was destroyed. Both pilots are OK
