Official word from Ojai District Ranger

I spoke to Kathy Goode with the forest services. She spoke with the acting district ranger at the Ojai district. He told her that there is an excivator and a masticator working to re-hab the contingency lines from the fire. They hope to have it done by the end of the month. He said "It is slow going however, they are working hard at it". He said that they are hoping to have it done by the end of the month. Pine will be one of the first places that they will open. Bottom line, no Pine til October.
