Ok, I'll start the PS posting... hope others will follow up on their fabulous flights! =)

9 PG's and 5 HG's flew Plowshares on Sunday. Chad&Irene(still in a ankle cast) via tandem, Lee Anne went to New Cuyama (20-ish miles) and Evan "the Rookie" of P2 and 10hours put in a 26 miler! Most were seeing 5400-6300' max. while Evan and Hansford (on his second mnt. flight) got to 7200'+. Jessica R. tripped 8 miles, myself 5-ish, Kevin D. and Eric about 4.5ish. I didn't find out how well the hangy's did... but they were landing in the vicinity of 'us bags'.

Personal note: I was last on launch but patience was a virtue. It was some sad time clocking by while the gaggle headed east and I watched the upper flag point due east, then due west and then right at me. It was a breathless calm. The only things moving around me were the flying bugs and perhaps a bead of sweat into one of my eyes. Eventually a cycle whispered up and I did a running reverse launch over the edge backwards tugging my A's all the way. My trip included a boomer thermal at the knob 800-1000'/minute? for a coupla minutes and no connection/long glide over ratty thermals over the valley. Finally thermalled a windmill and water trough 200' off the deck and landed...whereas another small story unfolded.. (pics coming soon). =)
