Been Jones'in for a nice flight. Tried the 'Cox yesterday. 300 over on the first pass, then straight to the beach on the second pass. Thought I had holes in my wing.

Up the hill today with Glenn and Mark Stucky. Irene was all ready hitting 4200. We helped Hans get off in some strong cycles.

Climbed out in the House with Mark on my tail. Front reserve had slipped off the velcro and was giving me trouble. Off to the RR. Punchy confluence over the spine. I still had some gravel from Wilcox in the cells, and the wing started "Blowing Chunks" as it would surge popping out of the sharp thermals.

Off to the TF with Mark. We were side by side til he veered left and went up. I went straight to the front bump and down. Out to the AF looking for Glenn but it was even rougher with air moving every which way. Nearly lost the whole wing, so I threw in the towel and headed out to Parma. Glennie saw 2/3 of his wing go away.

Back to launch and helped Bob relaunch. Of course it was now a smooth and delightful flight to the beach.
