The day looked really nice. 500-600fpm and according to the bilpmaps, topping out at 8k. But no ride up. Christian and I had been debating doing the hike to Twin Peaks for several days and this seemed like the one. My legs were still stiff from the previous sunday at the beach so I opted out of taking my glider but Christian grabbed his and I went along out of curiosity. Did the hike to the top in just over an hour and the cycles were coming in perfectly (1PM). After much debate Christian tossed out his glider. By this time the cycles were slacking...go figure ey? He couldn't get enough air in it to do a nice inflation and he couldn't go as far down the hill as he would have liked without falling off a cliff. Gave a few attempts but decided to can it. Our overall impression was that with relatively little work it could be a really nice launch. It's a bit of a hike but youre almost to gauranteed to get up if anything at all is working.
