I'm waaay tired from a loong day o' flyn. =) I'll write my best here in short form...
1) 4 suvs, 15? pilots... 2) ice on road--no prob. 3) some lousy launches, some itchy(scratchn') PG's and HG's. 4) Chad + Irene to Santa Clause lane... Dave Herman following. 5) It was a low-tech day for me.. no radio, vario, or watch! (had coolicam tho.. ;) I took "front of house" thermal over rocks, nearly kickn them.. back up to above launch height and worked back to the bowl, no lift back there... lost alt. went back to f.o.h. therm and up and out to Cieneguitas w/ 1500+ over. Tried some minor spiral dives... impressed the natives. 6) Beautiful sight when at LZ... It looked like it was upward raining PG's at Alt. and Skyport!! =)
