What I thought was going to be a little group of fliers turned out to be the Ojai and Santa Barbara contingency and then some. I coerced Zvi to leave Ojai with the promise he could fly my new Sigma 5. He was all grins when he landed. I flew the Epsilon 3 on my first flight, which turned out to be a good idea, and I was able to climb to 1100' above launch. That proved to be the sweet spot because nothing else worked that well.

The second flight Zvi and I switched wings and I flew the Sigma for the 3rd time ever, and having flown the Epsilon first it made it quite easy to feel the differences in wings. It turns on a dime and gives you 9 cents change, yet gives you the same relative secure feeling of the Epsilon.

The glide is far superior to the Epsilon and the energy it retains is very noticeable. Definitely not a beginner wing but nothing outlandish or twichy.
