I only flew the second round. My flight suit zipper failed so I mounted my radio on my left chest strap.
I got just a little above launch and headed for the TF where I came in just above the road as usual, and was able to figure eight up a hundred feet or so. I had to stay too close to terrain to work the lift so I took a line to the E side of the AF. When I arrived, Ron was at the top of the stack and making a run back to the TF.
I found I couldn't turn my head left to clear turns because of my clever radio mounting, and I couldn't easily dislodge the radio. I then to the RH ridge in hopes I would be able sort it out and get back up.
The wind changed just as I was on final at Parma (at least that's my story) and I landed faster than expected.
