Still suffering the horrors of wacky weather yet desperate to fly Zvi, Tyson, Christian and I headed for Wilcox. We never made it that far. A follow up call to the airport didn't go well so we decided to switch to the Avenue. Conditions actually looked surprisingly good at launch when we arrived but quickly degenerated and was significantly cross. We launched anyway and took record breaking sled rides to the soccer field. Whoopdie-doo. On the drive back into Ojai we happened to see a few flags...Blowing hard offshore. It was onshore in Ventura....I have to wonder what it was like where those two forces met. We certainly weren't in it at the avenue. Winds are still looking nasty for the next few days but the training hill in SB could have possibilities.
