I cancelled my reservations. I spoke with Tom T last night and after looking at the weather this morning the wind and low lapse rate makes the flying ify at best at the Owens. The flying locally looks to be stellar. So why drive 6 hours, spend $100's of dollars on rooms/eating out when we can fly locally.

One of the aspects of paragliding is making the right choices on where to fly.... for me it will be locally.
