Nine pilots ventured off to Pine. The wind was from the east @ 5-8 mph when we arrived at the sandpile. The cycles were strong but manageable when we arrrived at launch at 11:30am. Ron F flew his new red mistral 2 and had no problem getting above the ridge. No one flew over the back and the highest I got was 9500. Some people reported going to 10,000 but those were the exceptions.

We were mobile back to NHS by 2:00. The plan was to meet there. A few of us were thinking about the grade only to have our plans foiled by the other chase who took our wings to Chiefs. So we left NHS to get to Chiefs at 4:00. Nice sledder to Boccali's field. Beers and stories were shared at the restaurant.
