Good Monday morning.

Just a preclude to John G's note of the upcoming Plowshare camp out this weekend.

This last weekend had very nice flying with many pilots having very good flights. On Saturday Morgan Hall had a great triangle flight running from Plowshare launch to McPherson to Caliente and back to the Big L.Z. Tony de Leo went about 50 -60 miles but I can't remember where he landed. Several other pilots made it to the Burger Barn and beyone. Sunday Tom Truax made it to Mcpherson getting to 8800 there. Anne-Odile was Queen of the low saves going to her secret spot twin towers down low and climbing consistently back up through everyone. The Bat made it to Alisos with Big A somewhere I think to Cottonwood on Sunday.

As payback to my not going on the bike ride I landed out on Saturday and hiked my gear a couple miles out in the heat. I could hear the bike riders haunting laugh echoing in the hills as the buzzards shadows circled over my fatiguing carcass waiting for the inevitable collapse. The only thing more embarrassing than that was looking back up to launch which wasn't very far away.

Still, the good flying was there to be had. On Sunday the lift over and around launch was beautifully smooth and Big A and I were just loving it coring up wing tip to wing tip in the smooth lift. Come on out camping this coming weekend.
