Saturday night look at Sunday

Looks like a go for the Skyport

I’ll wait till next weekend for Plowshares. The hangies did Bates to Ventura today, getting off before it blew through too hard.

The wind should back down as the high moves overhead. Our spectacular lapse rate will fade with the 6K temp forecasted to climb into the mid to upper 40s. A forecasted temp spread from the surface to 6K is in the low to mid twenties. Not real dynamic, but ok for this time of year.

The wind is blowing hard on the ridge tonight, and we may see some drainage in the morning that needs to block. A breeze may kick up in the afternoon, but the marine forecast is for mild conditions in the Channel.

If Debbie is showing an early block, I’ll probably head out the door around 8:30 after picking up the balloon data. I suspect the day should be blocked and soarable by 10:30, and letting off better by noon.

If your coming from the south, you may want to leave a vehicle in Carp or Ventura.
