A little late in posting. The weather at the mountains looked a little iffy. So, I was sitting at my dinning table Saturday morning designing the fence I am about to start. BH called and said everyone was going to Parma. I told him it looked like the wind was coming on the right direction to ridge soar. I opted to drive the short distance from my house to Wilcox to give him an update.

When I got there the wind was coming straight in but a little light. I hung around giving updates and within a half hour the wind was strong enough to warrant driving home and getting my wing.

When I got back there was one paraglider pilot going down to the light house and was 150-200 over. (He never came back). I launched and had the place to my self for a couple of laps when BH, Benson, and Tom B jumped in the air. They were followed by Sarah C.

The cycles were pulsing and getting weaker and after 45 min of flying without gloves and in my shirt I opted to land before I became any colder or I ended up on the beach. There were 4-5 onlookers standing at the lip where you approach the lz taking pictures and watching. I buzzed them and they graciously jumped out of my way.

Afterwards we tried the bypass and it was not working and we were talking about Happy Canyon. Benson decided to fly as he did not want to be home too late. He had a good launch in his Matrix and flew to St. Marys. It was about 2:00.

We met Chad and Kevin D at the bottom of 154 and BH drove me and Greg, from Luxembourg, to the site. There it was Kevin, Greg, BH, Sara C, Chad, another one of Chad's students, and myself. It reminded me of HWY 10 in rush hour traffic. We had about 20-45 min of air time.

Nice thing about Sat. was the fact I was able to fly two new sites.
