Hooked up with Mark W., Mike and Nancy, and Sarah at Happy Canyon about 3:00. They had just completed their first round of good flights there.

They had all ready been to Figueroa Mountain for some good flights in the light SE conditions. An hour of air time and 1000 over, so I heard. Mark W. flew half way to Michael J's ranch.

Back at Happy things were getting good. It was a rare day at this small site. The residual east wind and the mild temperatures must be good indicators. Back in SB, primetime for the hangies flying in Ramey's competition was after 1:30. By 4:00 at Happy, glass off conditions were developing a few hundred over launch. I peaked out 500 over, but Mike must have had me beat by a few hundred. My last flight lasted 41 minutes, and ended with a top landing.
