Ron I can confer with your description of the lift today. I opted for the front and found one thermal at the AF that took me to 3700' while my vario was telling me I was climbing close to 800'/min. While fading back over to the TF the air became very turbulant and one third of my wing collapsed. A first on my Epsilon. It took three pumps of the brakes to re-inflate the wing. One of the more roudy rip-snorting thermal days I have flown in for sometime. Too much ridge soaring at Torrey Pines and La Salina has made my bump factor wane.
