Zvi,Claude, Jerry (one of Claude's students), myself, Dan launched from Chief's about 12:00. Cycles were 3-8. Seemed inverted as temp was not much different than valley floor. Jerry had his 9th(?) flight that day and did not have the experience to work weak lift and flushed out at the school below. Winds were forecasted to be west and I stuck to the spine and was able to get about 40' above launch. Zvi and Claude went west. Claude did fine and landed at his house. Zvi was low at 3 stooges and I figured he was going to have a nice hike. He eventually worked weak lift and made it to the field across the street from Nordoff HS. Myself, being too conservative landed at Bacalli's. A little over an hours flight.
