Seems safer to me then the Swift (with a tail to prevent tumble)and cleaner than the Carbon Dragon.I guess the price tag is...mega.

Describes homebrew version of the same concept. They guy lives in the San Diego Area and apparently has been doing this for some years. I would suggest we invite him up for club meeting and demo.

Sadly,unless I'm wrong,the guy didn't give any specs(best L/D ,empty weight) for his BUG 2-4 machines.Personally,if I would go for a cheap foot launched micro-lift sailplane,I would go with the ULF-1.
