Here are some photos from Sunday. Allen King and his family reunion came up to watch him fly in the am. Cort Flinchbaugh had his first flight at Oat mid day. Marty and Carmen came out late in the afternoon. Tree man got to fly the comp and Oat. It was fun and insightful to watch the conditions and texture of the air change though out the day.

I arrived at launch at about 5 and launched around 5:30pm. Nitrous had groomed the launch area ..it looked great! Cloud cover was pulsing in and out with the thermal activity. When I launched cloud cover looked as if it was starting to roll back. Once again Nitrous, Marty, Carmen, Ron and his friend showed me how I should have worked the conditions...as I was pulled to the Goodenough LZ and they played around at the top. Someday...I hope to be as good a pilot as them. Flight time 18 min.

A great flying weekend with the 2 tasks at Marshall and Oat too!

High wind warning for tonight and tomorrow. Sunday may be good; I will give you a call if it is. Simen is gone for the weekend, he has been working on a system to notify pilots when it is on.

Would love to get to fly oat again . . . got the chance a while ago with the eagle guys me (Kevin) and my girlfriend (Lauren) were there . . . we loved the mountain (and the closerness to LA). Let me know how to get on the contact list (kevinrhanson@gmail.com).
