nuthouse friday

unusually straight up cycles were a clue that we might get up nicely from launch. gr8 thermal flying all along nuthouse ridge. art met the east at the pyramid which was parking us at @3400 and preventing advance. unfortunately, i couldn't get westbound far enough past the 33 due to the draw up the riverbed. theoretically had we been able to connect the bumps toward whiteledge with altitude the E, which was maintaining all the way to debbie, could have conveyor belted us along the range. but the flying was exciting around the nuthouse grounds and big thermals @ launch were an overdue reward for all the scratching we've done to get up in the past.
