Longest shortest flight STILL pending
Posted: Sun Mar 02, 2008 8:39 amA few of us met Saturday morning. The weather didn't look promising for anyone but me. I do appreciate those showing up even if it was only - once again - to enjoy the spectacle of my struggling with a lost cause.
I was gratified by the show of support and the general view that picking the right day would yield a large turnout as we've had in the past. So we've resolved to try again next week. Stay tuned.
For what its worth, around 1 PM things did open up for a couple of hours and JR had a good flight in what he referred to as "dynamic" conditions.
