Hey guys! I fly paragliders and I'm coming around December to the US for about 3 weeks. I was wondering where could I possibly go to fly around December. Since is Winter, I was wondering if I could find a warmer place to fly. Any event going on around this time? I've tried to find some information online but with no luck. Anyone could please help!

Hello,
Santa Barbara can have some great flying in Dec, but be warned that it is very inconsistent and depends weather fronts. Many times our best days are pre and post frontal. Another issue is the predicted El Nino and how it will effect conditions in Dec are unknown. Most of us locals look forward to some great flying here in the winter, but we might wait for weeks to get several good days.

Thanks for the info pengoquin. I guess I will have to decide which way to go when I get there. I'm also considering "Goodsprings, NV". I'm bringing my gear with me and hope for the best!
