XC opportunities abound at this drive-up site for HG and PG. (H3 and P3)
Bring oxygen if you have it, as flights above 13K are not uncommon.
We'll set and score XC tasks for all those who are interested.
AZHPA maintains a private campground 100 meters from launch in the cool pines at 7800 feet.
Hotels and rental houses are available in the nearby towns of Prescott, Prescott Valley, Jerome, and Cottonwood.

This year's Mingus Fly-in will be September 2-5, and so far our monsoon season has been unusually dry. If this weather pattern continues, we should have great flying, with much less rain than last year, for this year's event.
