Owen's Valley Sky God Memorial Day Trip May 26-28

This year Memorial Day falls on May 28th, so we are planning on being there from the 26th through the 28th. If you are an Owens Valley regular, or H3 or P3 wanting to try some serious XC, grab some personal bests and fly with pilots from all over the world, this is the trip for you.
There are numerous camping and hotel options available in the Lone Pine area. It can be hot during the Memorial Day so make sure to stay hydrated and fly with water. Many of us typically plan on leaving Friday (morning group and afternoon group) and carpooling is definitely recommended. Camping in the Alabama Hills is not only spectacular, but make for a great place to relax around the fire for after flying fun.
If you are a beginning pilot, this may not be the trip for you to fly, drivers are much appreciated and will provide you a FANTASTIC opportunity to learn from experienced pilots about the area and see some truly amazing flying in a world famous flying site. An unforgettable experience.
