from Rob:

Hello All,

The weather looks good so the Holiday Party is on at Robins Saturday night December 10th! Pilots are welcome to fly and land at Robins LZ of course.

PLEASE carpool as parking is always a problem. Robin has invited anyone who wants to camp in their truck or up in the LZ on the lower 20 to do so. Please don’t drink and drive.

We need all of you to follow the map and stay on the main road. The neighbors get upset when we go up their driveways so stay on the main road all the way up to Robin’s place.

The gate will be open so you won’t need the combo. Parking down below and walking up to the cantina is a great idea.

There are new restrooms at the Cantina. Ladies room is the door on the left, and the men’s room is the door on the right.

Robin has requested that their be no cigarette butts on the ground, so if you smoke make sure to get rid of your butt in a trash can once it is fully extinguished.

Robin wants us to make sure we cover his pool table if it’s not in use, and we should not set any drinks on the pool table either.

There is a kitchen with hot water, with an oven and 6 big burners. There is also two nice BBQ’s outside.

There is plenty of firewood for both of the inside and outside fireplaces, with a can of diesel to get the fire going. Please don’t get too crazy with the fireplaces an overload them with wood.

There are extra chairs and tables covered by a tarp outside if we need them. There is a big black trash dumpster the clean up crew can use the next day.

Robin said there is no hurry for people to show up early and clean up on Sunday. Late morning or early afternoon for the clean up will be just fine. Let have the last folks standing at the party do their best to tidy things up before they split.

If you haven’t updated what you are bringing on the club web site you can still do it by following this link. There are also maps if you need those - http://www.sbsa.info/2011-SBSA-Holiday-Party.html .

Looking forward to a good time!
