Club meeting - pizza, raffle, weather etc.
Posted: Wed Nov 04, 2009 10:18 amDon’t miss this month’s SBSA club meeting on this Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 7:00pm at Rusty’s Pizza on 228 W Carrillo St. The club will be purchasing a few pizzas for those who arrive by 6:45. The meeting will begin promptly at 7:00pm and end by 8:30pm. If there are 24 or more people in attendance we will be raffling off 2 door prizes. A push to talk donated by Eagle Paragliding and a Saucisse concertina bag donated by Fly Above All.

• How to read a Skew-T graph (Is it going to be a good day to fly?) – Bob Anderson
• Radio Protocol – (dos and don’t on the radio) – Rob Sporrer
• What to carry in an emergency kits –(what you might need in case things don’t work out as planned) – John Greynald
• Nominations for the 2010 SBSA board (another reason to make sure to show up and defend yourself against any surprise nominations!)
