A contingency of SB pilots are planning on a Owens Valley encampment this Labor Day weekend and then some.
To date Hammer, Mayer (Aerohead) and a host of other luminaries such as Little John, Bob A, and others have posted their intentions to join the march "into thin air" I will be departing Carpinteria at 5pm on Friday, returning on Sunday or Monday, dependent on victory or defeat. Millington, having the luxury of deciding when and if he wants to work will be leaving as he is guided by the same voices that talk him through his flights. My 3/4 ton diesel 4x4 regular cab will hold 28 gliders, 14 cases of beer and 2-3 pilots. Call 684-5705 or my cell 223-5311 for details.
