SCPA Meeting June 6, 2009

I would like to call a meeting of the SCPA for Saturday, June 6th at 41 Greenwell Lane in Santa Barbara at 4 PM.

The agenda will consist of:

1) Assessment of fire damage to Skyport.

2) Possible avenues to replace pre-existing conditions.

3) Fundraising

4) Flying Restrictions for the launch.


We took a drive up to launch this morning and the devastation is a bit overwhelming.

Let's get together and discuss how to restore our most important local soaring site's launch. SBSA members and hang gliders welcome. The address is my rental home and is just off the freeway near Las Positas and Modoc. Take the Las Positas exit toward Wilcox/Hendry's/Arroyo Burro and take the first left at Modoc. Greenwell is 200 yards down Modoc on the left, across from La Cumbre Jr. High's soccer field. Bring refreshments, if you like.
