Glennies operation

Postby Jeffy » Thu Apr 17, 2008 7:30 am

Hey All,
If you haven't already heard.
As of today. My Bro Glenny is down in USC Medical Center having two teratoma tumors removed from inside his chest cavity.

I know I don't even need to ask.
But, If you all could Please send your positive thoughts and energy, prayers and any other cosmic mojo you can muster his way.

He has been told that he could say at thee hospital as short as 4 days or as long as 2 weeks.

I will post more later when I hear how the operation went.
I will also be posting the phone number and room number as soon as he is settled in and recovering.

Mahalo,

anyone who has flown the ridges w/ glenny (usually below him) over the years knows that this guy is a uniquely positive sb fixture to say the least. anyway, let me know if anyone wants to carpool to usc to cheer him up.

I still haven't talked to Glenny or his parents. But, I have talked to a nurse on the floor that Glenny is on. He is not in ICU. That is a good thing! With HIPPA laws she wasn't able to give me much information. I asked her 1 to 10 how was he doing. She gave him a 8.

There are no phones in his room and he is still unable to get out of bed and receive any calls.

He is @: http://www.usc.edu/schools/medicine/pat ... dical.html
on the ninth floor.

I'll post more as soon as I know more.

He's doing great. But he'll have a long recuperation.
He has a positive out look, additude and he will beat this shit.
I don't think that he be on the ground very long.
I think the next time the ridge is on he'll be there flying!
(Above everyone, as usual...)

I went to visit Glenny last saturday in his beautiful house on West Camino Cielo. He is doing really well. I got a great tour of his property and despite a looong scar on his belly he could walk as if nothing happened. Pretty amazing recovery actually. Looks like no more chemo or surgery is scheduled, so it is looking good.... It will be good so see Glenny in the sky again (very soon).
