On Thursday morning I was checking the wind and here's what I found. Debbie was reporting 12-30 mph with the average being WSW at 22. The link for the new weather station, which I think is in the same area as Debbie, was reporting calm conditions. And Montecito Pk. was reporting NE at 33-43. Must have been quite a convergence.
I guess the lesson here is don't put all your eggs in one weather station.
