Sweet. Ronda is a huge asset contributing to the reduction in Global Warming. One of the reasons we often get high at Pine Mountain it is because Pine is a high ridge that tends to demarcate the onshore and offshore air masses, which is great for convergence when it is right over the top, but the convergence is often shifted to one side or the other leaving a venturi over the ridge as the flow feeds toward the convergence. It can be somewhat of a crapshoot committing to the drive without a local indicator on the ridge line. Back in the (good old) HG days, it we could simply launch in the wind and go OTB, but Pine is often "blown out" for PGs (see Chris's dramatic effect video). Look forward to reading about the last year's many successful trips continuing this season.

Just a public "Thank you, Chris" for funding, installing, and maintaining the Pine Mtn WX station.
