We now have an RSS feed for the forum. If your browser supports it, and/or you have an RSS feed reader, you'll have an RSS button somewhere in your menubar. For folks who want to do it manually, the url is http://scpa.info/bb/forum/rss.php

Way cool, but when I looked up what an RSS feed was this is what I got:

XML.com

XML.com features a rich mix of information and services for the XML community.

Normalizing XML, Part 2

In this second and final look at applying relational normalization techniques to W3C XML Schema data modeling, Will Provost discusses when not to normalize, the scope of uniqueness and the fourth and fifth normal forms.

The .NET Schema Object Model

Priya Lakshminarayanan describes in detail the use of the .NET Schema Object Model for programmatic manipulation of W3C XML Schemas.

SVG's Past and Promising Future

In this month's SVG column, Antoine Quint looks back at SVG's journey through 2002 and looks forward to 2003.

This was way more than my little pea brain can handle. You tell me, just what is RSS going to do for me????

RSS stands for "Real Simple Syndication". Basically it produces a "digest" of all the articles on the discussion board which your RSS client can retrieve on a schedule. When a new article gets posted, your RSS client automatically grabs it for you to read without having to load a webpage. It's a great way to get news from hundreds of sources without having to load a single site. It gets pushed to you.

Thank you for the simple version for a simple mind. Should I delete my previous post? Or is there someone out there that is actually interested in that?
Wish you all the best on your upcoming trip.

Thanks

I'm sure it cleared things up a bit for a few folks who were wondering what all the excitement was about.
