Here's a radical idea

From time to time in the past, while setting up my glider on launch at the eliminator, I've encountered fellow club members smoking on launch. I couple of times I've suggested that this might not be a good idea. Such suggestions weren't well received. The smoking continued. I'm not sure if this was because acceptance of such a suggestion might be construed as a some sort of defeat in a contest of wills or if the individuals are just plain lame - probably both.

I realize that some are going to feel "well today there isn't any danger" or "I'm responsible" or whatever. But it's just too tough got try to adjudicate every instance.

Could we ALL just agree that this is a bad idea and NOT acceptable practice ever? Is this soooo unreasonable?
