Getting ready for new Cross Country season I put together PG/HG launches in South California and Airspace map including A, B, C, D, restricted areas and MOA:

Hi Dizzy,
Not sure how to read this. Why all the purple in the Mojave and Owen's - is that all restricted airspace ??

Restricted areas are blue labeled as R-2515, R-2505, etc. Most of purple in the Mojave and Owen's is MOAs (Military operation area). Here is description what does it mean:

You can also download airspace map in kmz format:
http://www.lloydbailey.net/google_earth/downloads/dafif/california.kmz
and browse it in the Google Earth. It has names for each area and other useful info.
