Flying in Santa Barbara in JAN?

Hey folks

I,m new to this site and dreaming of flying and was wondering how the flying is in your area this time of year?
I also kitesurf and am beginning paragliding as well as well as kayak and board surf.
Thinking your area might be a good one stopper.
And anyone here know Scott Kurth and how to get a hold of?
