I have searched high and low on this forum for a post that was made probably within the last 18 months. I think one of the veteran hang gliders posted an explanation of all the transitions and peaks from SB to Ojai with images from google earth. Also had a verbal explanation of flying downrange. anyone know what I am talking about? is this still on the forum? Its time to study up!!!

Hi Tyrone,
Leonardo on paragliding forum is great tool to learn new places and analyze flights. I have one flight from Skyport downrange, but little bit short of Ojai:

http://www.paraglidingforum.com/modules.php?name=leonardo&op=show_flight&flightID=12903

You can download it as Google Earth kml file and analyze in Google Earth.

Unfortunately nobody else post thier flights there. :(

Alex

You're going to have to explain "a little bit short of Ojai" because I've been "a little bit short of Ojai" once or twice and there's not much there but grief and sorrow..;P

but grief and sorrow

Not at all, at least for me. :D As I remember that was my second flight in SB.
