The State Of The Board

I'm sure most of you have noticed that the SPAM prevention measures (that annoying sequence of letters and numbers you had to enter when you registered) we had in place have been broken by the pests of the intar-web. OJ and I have been trying to keep them at bay manually but it's a pain and some of them still slip through. As a result I've done some memberlist pruning to try to get rid of the ones that slipped through, and made the visual confirmation code a little harder. I deleted a bunch of inactive user accounts (folks who never clicked the link in the confirmation email) and accounts that haven't logged in within the last 6 months which are either SPAM-bots, or curious passers-by. If you haven't logged in within the last 6 months and suddenly find that you don't have an account just make another one. There shouldn't be many of you, if any.

Everyone still mostly happy with the board? I didn't get many photos for the header when I asked last time but maybe folks have some new stuff. If you send me anything, it must be at least 850 pixels wide! GreenMntn AT ojai.net

Hey Chris,

Yes, thanks for keeping the board clean. Even though I haven't been flying much over the last few months with Kirra's arrival, I enjoy lurking around and keeping up with all the great flying adventures.

Thanks for all your efforts with the board.
